Interested in trying Samsung’s latest foldable phone but worried about the price? The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 can be purchased through a special trade-in promotion while giving visitors a chance to learn more about sustainable living.
The promotion is available at Langkah Membumi Market, an event organized by Blibli and Tiket at Grand Indonesia shopping mall in Jakarta from October 8 to 11, 2026.
Samsung is among dozens of brands participating in the event. According to Blibli Head of WSG Ignacia Chiara Irawan, the participating brands were selected because they offer products or operate their businesses with sustainability principles in mind.
Trade In Your Old Device for a New Galaxy
Several brands at Langkah Membumi Market are offering trade-in programs, including Samsung.
Blibli says trade-in programs can be a more environmentally friendly option than simply keeping unused electronic devices at home.
Samsung Electronics Indonesia Head of Marketing & Demand Generation Andi Airin said the company believes innovation is not only about developing new technology, but also about using technology to support a more sustainable lifestyle.
“Innovation is not only about bringing the latest technology, but also about how technology can support a more sustainable lifestyle,” Andi Airin said.
Samsung’s approach includes the use of recycled materials, long-term software updates designed to extend device lifespans, and trade-in programs that give old devices additional value.
“Through Langkah Membumi Market, we want to show that better living can start with simple choices, including how we use and manage technology more responsibly,” Andi added.
Galaxy Z Fold8 Starts at Rp 26.999 Million
Visitors to the event can get special trade-in deals and cashback on Samsung’s latest foldable devices.
The Galaxy Z Fold8 is available at a special starting price of Rp 26,999,000, while the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra starts at Rp 29,999,000.
For visitors considering an upgrade, the trade-in program offers a way to put an old device toward the purchase of a newer model.
Don’t Forget Your E-Waste
Langkah Membumi Market isn’t just about shopping for new gadgets.
Visitors can also bring their electronic waste to ByeByeBox and receive rewards in return.
Accepted items include everyday electronics such as:

With technology, recycling, and sustainability brought together in one place, Langkah Membumi Market offers visitors more than just a chance to upgrade their gadgets—it also provides a look at how everyday technology choices can have a broader impact.
